A Collins S-Line Monitor Scope?

Yup! That's right. Here is what I call the MS-101 (Monitor Scope 101)!
Obviously it began life as a Heathkit SB-610 but here is what I did to make
it look
"more Collins:"
(1) Cabinet stripped down to bare metal, primed and sprayed. Trim ring area
masked off
and sprayed.
(2) Front panel stripped, holes filled, primed, wrinkled and sprayed.
(3) I made custom dry transfers for the lettering and applied.
(4) All the knobs (nine of them) are cast replicas of the typical S-Line
knob. They are
cast in polyester resin with about 50% aluminum powder added as a filler.
Holes drilled
for shaft and drilled and tapped for set screw.
(5) Risers and wing emblem cast in same material.
