| Here are some photographs of my good friend Butch Schartau, K0BS, at his shack in Rochester, Minnesota. Butch has one of the most complete Collins collections in the world. He is an expert technician, a fine gentleman and one of my dearest friends. |

| Butch completely restored the KW-1 on the far right. He has since done several others! The KWS-1/75A-4 combination on the left is perfectly restored. Butch built the 312A-2 console himself. Some of Butch's many DX awards adorn the wall. | Here is just a small part of Butch's Collins A-Line collection along with some E.F. Johnson rigs thrown in for good measure. All the rigs on display are fully restored and operational. |

| Here's the OM in 1994 with some of the S-Line gear in "Studio 1." The amplifier on the floor is a homebrew 4-1000 use for occasional DX work! This picture only shows about half of this part of the collection. | Maybe he has a little less hair today, but he does have two operational 30Ks! A 30K-1 sits on the left and a 30K-4 is on the right. Receivers are a Hallicrafters SX-73 and a Collins 75A-4. |
